Last Saturday's performance of "The Hunt for the Tome of Fire" took the audience at Cafe Kolache on a pulpy adventure into the unknown. With Dodge and Pluck hunting for a fireball book in the middle of war-torn Eastern Europe, the newest performance featured colorful characters, thrilling cliffhangers, and, of course, a book-full of laughs.
The show was a success in another way: the cast of "Dodge Intrepid" was able to raise $70 for the B.F. Jones Memorial Library in Aliquippa. The library's basement was flooded back at the beginning of July, and a lot of their children's and historical books were damaged. While this definitely isn't enough money to fix everything, it will certainly help the cause. If you would like to make your own private contributions to the library, click here to contact them.
The show at Cafe Kolache was also featured in the Beaver County Times Weekender. Click here to check out a scan of the article!
Yes, the show was excellent... and if you didn't make it, don't worry because a high-quality live audio recording of the show was captured, and will be podcast immediately after the studio versions of "Tome of Fire."
